VietQ:Bạn Means More Than Friends Conference & Website

I had the exciting opportunity to be a co-founder and the sole designer for the first-ever LGBTQ+ Vietnamese Conference in Seattle, Washington. Working alongside three other passionate founders, our goal was to create a safe, intergenerational, and healing space where the LGBTQ+ Vietnamese community could come together, share, and connect. We wanted to ensure that everyone, regardless of age or background, could find a sense of belonging and community here.

As the sole designer, I was thrilled to have the chance to illustrate and communicate the vibrancy and joy of my community through the visual identity of the conference. From creating promotional materials to the conference website, I worked to ensure the experience reflected the diversity, joy, and beauty of our Vietnamese culture and queer identity. It was deeply fulfilling to see attendees come together in a space that felt both welcoming and empowering, and it was a powerful reminder of the importance of creating spaces where marginalized communities can thrive and be seen.
